Robert "Rory" Collins

Rory Collins portrait

Rory was born and raised in the Midwest growing up mostly in Ohio and then moving to Arizona in high school. The beauty and amazing weather of Arizona made Rory decide to call Scottsdale, Arizona his home since 1991. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Morrison School of Agribusiness at Arizona State University. Before becoming a Financial Advisor in 2009 Rory was in the technology and automotive industries.

Rory believes that comprehensive wealth management helps you build the life you desire by working toward your goals. A holistic goals-based approach considers assets, markets, expenses and liabilities, time horizons and income requirements to come up with a custom strategy designed to achieve your objectives. Goals-based strategies encompass much more than just an investment plan. And because of their fuller, integrated nature, they can maximize your chances of reaching your goals.

Rory is married to his wife Kaprice and they have identical twin boys, Henry and Charlie.  They are a very close family and spend as much time together as possible. Rory believes that being present in your family and work life is very important. Travel is a passion of the Collins family and they enjoy the adventure of seeing new places, meeting new people, and exploring this planet. Rory is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, deep sea and fly fishing, skiing, camping, golf, and playing ice hockey. When not outside Rory can be found cooking meals for family and friends.

Philanthropy is something that is very important to Rory and giving back is a part of his everyday life. He has supported Fighter Country Foundation, which supports the airmen and their families at Luke Air Force Base, for many years. Because of that support in 2016 he was asked to be an Honorary Commander for the 56th Fighter Wing in the 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron at Luke Air Force Base. In 2018 he was asked to be an Honorary Commander for the 944th Fighter Wing in the 69th Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base. Each Honorary Commander commitment was 2 years and now that he has fulfilled that he has joined the Blue Blazer Squadron, which is a group of honorary commander alumni within Fighter Country Foundation.
